A Little Letter to an Amazing Daddy:

Being a Dad isn't easy... but being a dad to three little girls (all under the age of 3) that's a whole new definition of difficult.
The house that used to be so clean and quiet,
is now constantly filled with:
girl voices,
toys and bows,
and TOO MANY dirty diapers. I know you desperately wish for a mancave,
but unfortunately we have run out of bedrooms. The TV is constantly turned to cartoons. And Google home's first choice in music is 'toddler radio'. I know you are anxious for time to fly,
but please know every single smile, laugh, and hug you receive
doesn't even begin to show how much you are loved.
Mikah says thank you for the daddy daughter donut trips... and for always answering her "what are you doing?" even after the 37 thousandth time in one day.
She loves being your little princess.
Livia says she is so lucky to look just like her daddy.
And is thankful that you listen to her whining.
But is also so thankful to take after her tough, strong willed father.
And Gemma, well she is thankful to have a dad who's voice always wakes her up and gets her attention. Even though she doesn't show it now, all your picking on her will be remembered and reciprocated as soon as she is able.
And me, well I consider myself the luckiest of all. Thank you for being my teammate. And for always supporting me. Thank you for letting me enjoy these children daily, and working doubly hard for us. Thanks for listening to my million stories and sometimes being my only adult conversation for the day. Thank you for loving me almost as much as I love you.
You sacrifice so much for this little family of ours. You come home from a long day at work, only to start working again. Yard work. Home improvements. Car repairs. Then of course time with the girls before we put them to bed. Your hard, never ending work allows me to stay home with our littles and enjoy this quality time with them.
I hope our girls know that they are so very lucky to have a dad who works tirelessly for them. I may be the one spending the day to day routine with them, but I hope they look back on these memories, and realize their Daddy was a lot of the reason it was possible.
You are truly rocking this Dad Life, And you deserve to be celebrated this father's day, and every day. You take the title 'Dad' as a really big deal,
and these little girls of ours love you for it.
Super Dad for sure.
There's a quote that goes, "Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing Dad." So I think that makes you amazing times 3. We absolutely couldn't do life without you.
Love always,
your favorite girls
