The Crying Epidemic

The flu is contagious.

And everyone has caught a yawn.

Gossip spreads faster than wildfire.

Even smiling and laughing can be infectious.

And we are all guilty of checking our phone just because someone else is on theirs.

But it wasn't until I became a mom that I discovered that crying is highly contagious.

You may think it sounds a little dramatic. But just watch what happens when a little one starts crying and suddenly a room that was perfectly quiet only moments ago now sounds like a choir of criers. It's like they cry in sync. I don't know if they are showing empathy for each other or just adding to the chaos to make sure that the initial upset child doesn't get all the attention. All I know is that once I have three little girls spilling tears and trying to outcry the other...even I feel the urge to cry.

So just a word of advice, if you hear another tiny one crying, keep your child at a distance. You may think the flu is bad, but once you've got multiple kids crying at once, it's an epidemic.

The cutest crying flower girls for Aunt R. *yes Liv even cried down the aisle*
